Facebook Ad for Wild Alaskan Company (Spec)

Client: Wild Alaskan Company (imaginary business) is a medium-sized business that sells seafood subscription boxes.

Project: The company wants to promote one of their more affordable products–the salmon subscription boxes–with a Facebook ad. The goal is to have the target audience click through to the landing page where they can learn more about the health benefits of this product and sign up for a subscription box.

Target audience: Health-conscious men and women ages 35-45. This audience lives an active & busy lifestyle and wants to keep themselves & their families healthy. They are willing to pay more for superfoods if they believe it’s worth it.

Tone: Educational and excited

My strategy: I grab the readers’ attention in the first line by highlighting healthy food (one of their values) and stating how it’s affordable. I delve into some health benefit details to keep them reading and create a personal feel by highlighting shared values between them and the company. I made sure to mention the discount in the call to action to provide more incentive to click through to the landing page.
