Project: They want to promote their new lipstick, TrueYou Match Lipstick (imaginary product) through a magazine ad. The goal is to get the audience to purchase the lipstick at their local drugstores.
Target audience: Women ages 25-45 who prefer a more natural makeup look and tend to buy beauty products at the drugstore.
Tone: Stylish and promotional
My strategy: I keep the copy for this ad straight and to the point, tying in benefits (confidence & practicality) and focusing on how this lipstick fits their natural-look preference.
